Special Communion Service (#2)

This Communion Service is for children (Std 6) who just 'graduated' from Junior Church. Those who missed the first "Special Communion Service" are encouraged to attend.

Parents & JC Teachers are welcomed to accompany them.

Who MUST attend : ALL YX, KC & JC Team members


Time: 12:45pm ~ 1:45pm (Or come immediately after end of Sunday service. Light refreshment will be provided.)



Purpose:

1. Ensure ALL relevant staff have TEACHING RESOURCEs - either hard-copy or on CDs. This will make it easier for Team Leaders to coordinate & assign teaching assignments or other activities. (Bring all Teaching Resources, CD-ROM or CDs you have received earlier.)


2. To GET ALL into the IT loop - so we can get informations & resources to all of YOU ON-LINE ! Sign-up for gmail accounts, Visit our google group & blog (NEW!)
3. Introduction to CM ON-LINE RESOURCES & sites we have subscribed to. You'll need to know password to access these sites.

If you have your own lap-top with wireless function, do bring it along. We want all to be sure on how to access some of these resources on-line. Yes.., we do have wireless broadband access in our facilities. Come & find out how you can get in. Access key will only be given to those who are involved in ministry & may need to go on-line.

Happy New Year 2009 !

To all our faithful fellow workers.. I praise God for you, for faithfully ministering to the children that the Lord brought in among us.. whether in Sunday School or Children Church. The Lord will surely richly reward you for all the sacrifices you have made. Nothing goes unnoticed by Him.

We have been taking our Primaries in Children Church through the "NEXT GENERATION' Curriculum since Jan 2008. Thus far, we have journeyed from Genesis till Esther.

1. Unit 1 Beginnings - Genesis 1 - 37
2. Unit 2 On the Road Again - Exodus 3:1-22
3. Unit 3 God's Mighty Heroes - Judges - Esther

Starting Jan 11, we continue with

Unit 4 God's Word in My Heart

This will take us all from Psalm till Malachi, completing an overview of the Old Testament.

What a journey! Thank you for “sticking on”!

Just as we need some kind of motivation to move forward, our children too will need them. We are going to provide these ‘external’ motivations through our re-packaged “Motivational Reward System” using the “CM Bank Book” for children to collect “CM $tamp$”. Let us take time to read & find out how this is to be carried out. Do refer to guidelines provided. Should any of your team members had missed the briefing on 4th Jan, please do explain to them. If you have missed the briefing yourself, please make a point to find out.
We will try to keep this as simple as possible so that it’ll be manageable. Feedbacks are welcomed. Changes & improvement will be along the way.
